Carrow Road is home of Norwich City (The Canaries). Both teams needed points to avoid the drop, but the game ended 0-0. Adrian and I caught an early coach from The Walkers Stadium. On our arrival, we both went to the supermarket nearby to go and use their toilets. Carrow Road has changed since the 1970's. The Norwich and Peterborough standis the oldest stand, costing £1.7m in 1979 and only taken 8 months to complete. The next to be re-developed was the Geoffrey Watling City standafter a severe fire in the bar; the stand cost £1.7m and was opened in August 1986. The third to be re-built is the Barclay stand, similar to the Norwich and Peterborough stand opposite and cost £2.8m to build. Finally the Jarrold stand (Away supporters are housed the end of the stand near the hotel in the corner) which was built 2003 and opened in 2004. A Hotel was built in 2005 in the corner of the Barclay stand and Jarrold stand which looks like Leyton Orients apartment blocks in there corners. If someone mentions there’s a fire on the coach, there probably isn’t as that’s what happened on our coach back!
